Experience Designer
Publicis Sapient

Oct 2022-Present

As a Publicis Sapient designer, my clients have included two institutes under the National Institute of Health (NIH) - the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

NCI’s mission is to lead, conduct, and support cancer research across the nation to advance scientific knowledge and help all people live longer, healthier lives. NIDDK’s research creates treatments for diseases that are among the most chronic, costly, and consequential for patients, their families, and the Nation.

As 1 of 3 designers on both teams, my role was to support all visual design requests - ranging from infographics, social media graphics, video storyboarding, illustration, powerpoint templates, publication design, and UI design.

Web Redesign

There are many outdated designs across the NIDDK website, so our team was always looking for new ways to modernize the overall look and feel. I lead the redesign of the Health Information page, which included icon and card designs. My goal was to achieve a more abstract, scientific look and brighten the page with lively colors to engage audiences.

AFTER

Infographics

NCI has complex organizations and research processes within the organization. Yet, they also pride themselves on transparency and educating their audience. Designing infographics helps NCI take complex concepts, and visualize them in a way that is engaging for users and easier to understand.

Storyboarding

NIDDK National Kidney Month

NIDDK produces videos each year for National Kidney Month to promote their awareness campaign. I worked with the art director and videographers to
put together the storyboard for this video short. The campaign also included
various other assets, including fact sheets, icons, banners, and more. You can
view more assets from the 2025 campaign on NIDDK’s website.

NCI Minute

NCI Minute is a short form video series focused on sharing recent research breakthroughs with the public. I designed the graphics and selected stock videos to incorporate throughout these videos to increase viewer engagement.

Illustrations

NCI’s Cancer Currents Blog publishes weekly articles about new developments in research. These articles involve a lot of scientific jargon that may be difficult for the average user (ie. cancer patients or caregivers) to understand. These illustrations break down these concepts by helping users visualize what these processes are and how they are occuring.
